BRECKSVILLE, Ohio – The Post, an open-air bar concept, is set to open in Brecksville.

The bar, from DiGeronimo Companies, is nestled within Valor Square, a community green space within Valor Acres in Brecksville.

The Post includes indoor and covered space that can accommodate more than 100 guests, with a surrounding outdoor area that can handle about 500 guests.

A full bar will cover a range of drinks from margaritas and martinis to classics like Manhattans and Old Fashioneds, in addition to beer and seltzers.

Hours will be noon to 10 p.m. Thursday, noon to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Valor Acres is billed as being a walkable complex to create connections. It’s one of several drinking and dining establishments in the complex along with Primer Coffee & Cocktails, Masu by Dante Boccuzzi and Flour by Matt Mytro. It’s also near the upcoming Sherwin-Williams Research & Development campus and a planned AC Marriott boutique hotel.

Organizers will celebrate the initial weekend – Friday to Sunday, Aug. 8-10 – with live music, entertainment and food trucks.
