Hylant to Relocate Northeast Ohio Office to Valor Acres
DiGeronimo Development today announced that Hylant, one of the nation’s largest privately held insurance brokerage firms, will be relocating its Northeast Ohio office to Valor Acres, Brecksville’s premier mixed-use destination.
Hylant has signed a lease for approximately 24,000 square feet of Class A office space, with an anticipated move-in scheduled for early 2027.
The relocation reflects both Hylant’s continued growth in Northeast Ohio and Valor Acres’ role as a hub for innovation, business, and community.
Founded in 1935, Hylant is a family-owned business built on lasting relationships and trust. The move to Valor Acres underscores the company’s dedication to its people and its future.
“As we continue to grow, it’s critical that our workspace reflects our values,” said Nick Hylant, Market President, Hylant-Cleveland. “At Hylant, team comes first. Valor Acres offers the perfect environment to support collaboration, innovation, and connection, not just for our colleagues but also for our clients and community.”
“Welcoming Hylant to Valor Acres is a tremendous milestone,” said Vic DiGeronimo, CEO of Independence Excavating. “Their culture of excellence and commitment to both clients and community align perfectly with our vision for Valor Acres as a place where business and people thrive together. This partnership adds another leading name to our development, and we look forward to building a long and meaningful relationship.”
Valor Acres, the transformative mixed-use destination developed by DiGeronimo Development, is designed to bring together businesses, residences, restaurants, retail, hospitality, and green spaces in a way that energizes and enriches the region. Hylant joins Flour by Matt Mytro, Masu by Dante Boccuzzi, the newly opened DiGeronimo Companies headquarters, Canvas at Valor Acres, and Primer Coffee & Cocktails Bar. It will also be in close proximity to the soon-to-open Sherwin-Williams Research & Development headquarters and the upcoming AC Marriott.

Flour Restaurant to Open Second Location at Valor Square in Brecksville
After nearly 15 years, Flour restaurant (34205 Chagrin Blvd., 216-464-3700) in Moreland Hills will be branching out. Owner Matt Mytro has announced plans to open a second location in Brecksville, specifically in the new mixed-use living community Valor Acres. Mytro will join his colleague Dante Boccuzzi, who will open a new Japanese restaurant called Masu there sometime this summer. Flour is on pace to open in fall.
“We're thrilled to bring our passion for exceptional dining and genuine hospitality to Brecksville with our new location at Valor Acres,” Mytro says. “At Flour Moreland Hills, we've dedicated ourselves to building a restaurant where both guests and staff feel at home, and we're eager to extend that same warm experience to the Brecksville community. We love the vibrant spirit here and are excited to grow alongside Valor as it blossoms.”
When it opens later this year, Flour at Valor Acres will bring the same chef-driven Italian fare that has made it a success since chef Paul Minnillo opened the restaurant in 2011. (Mytro is now the sole owner.) In addition to Flour’s handmade pastas, wood-fired pizzas and seasonal features, the Brecksville spot will offer dishes available nowhere else.
Diners can expect a stellar wine list, cocktail program and N/A beverage selection. A patio will feature both dining and lounge areas for guests to unwind alfresco.

Mytro, who lives with his family just a few miles north in Seven Hills, says that the Brecksville community offered a promising opportunity for him to expand the brand.
“Brecksville’s dining scene is vibrant but not oversaturated, which gives us a chance to create something exciting and lasting," he explains. "Valor Acres, especially, felt like the perfect fit—it’s a well-planned, energetic development that connects residential neighborhoods with a growing business and hospitality community.”
